In toady’s world, “Life Styles”, “Living Standard” and “Quality of Life” all are on the level of penetration of Computer –Communication revolution or the “e” factor. Thus we find an all round enthusiasm about e-health, e-learning or e-Governance in every nation aspiring to improve the life of citizens both urban and rural. The technologies involved here range from Utility software-packages, PC/Laptops/Hand-held computers, Web/Internet etc. to advanced Wireless Systems, Ubiquitous Computing, Net-worked Data-bases, Open/Free Software, Multi-lingual Computing etc.
While, the growing awareness about the advancements and the benefits of computers and communications make it easier these days, to introduce these new technologies, there remain gaps amongst developers, users or administrators/managers both in the understanding of latest knowledge and circuitry of specific applications of e-health, e-learning or e-Governance. The conference will look forward to close the gaps by gathering experts both from technology domains and application domain including Govt. officials. The conference will also aim to introduce new concepts and technologies relevant to the above themes.
